The food experience is very nice. the taste is complete. ate nasi dagang and chicken rendang. superb taste and no complaint at all about the taste. teh tarik also taste good like the old times. the price is quite affordable.

The lunch here is delicious, but the restaurant could benefit from adding more seating space. Overall, great food and good service, but the atmosphere gets a bit crowded during peak hours.

Good varieties of dishes. May not be the same all the time, even though there are some basic ones. I liked the milder flavour vegetable dishes. Curry puff (potatoes with little bit of minced chicken) was fresh. Very nice with thin crispy, layered pastry. Reasonable price. RM20 for the food here and a hot lemon water. There's a small air conditioned area with around 16 seats. It was not too busy yet at 9:30am on a Sunday.

Great restaurant with a huge (I mean huge, huge!) selection of different foods. You can choose from their buffet whatever you like and pay accordingly. We had two plates full of good stuff and two drink, overall 40 RM. We were full for the whole day and didn’t even have dinner.

It is one of two side walk warongs(before) allowed to build on corners of walkways in the main part of town near the UTC and main market. This are used to be the happening area in my younger days. This corner restaurant is famous for their local Malay cuisine. By 7.30am the basic noodles and fried rice for breakfast is served. They have rendang and other local dishes by 8am and their noodles / friend rice is rather tasty compared to the usual you get at Malay eateries. They also have soup and curry noodles with the yong liew (fishballs etc) that Ipoh is famous for as there is one Chinese Muslim vendor doing this Nasi kunyit Nasi lemak Lontong Mee kari Fried mee and mee hoon Nasi goreng I know it is a hotspot for lunch as my sister in law loves the food here and she is a picky Thai foodie. There are few tables inside (air cons) where the cashier counter is. Young group of staffs serving and taking orders. Master chef all behind cooking a storm. The list is endless and my breakfast was awesome. Nescafé was good They do put in a lot of effort to keep the place clean and neat. Their serving buffet table also is built for easy scooping of food.

It was one of the best restaurants to have lunch in Ipoh. I have been here twice. They offer a variety of local food. The restaurants owner is also very friendly.

One of the best Malay restaurant i like . There is quite a selection of dishes, fried banana, cucur, desserts and noodles. The restaurant is usually packed especially for lunch. I love their self service system. Customers help themselves and they have the freedom to decide the amount of food they like to take. The dishes are delicious. This time round, we ate the curry noodles which was not bad. The kerabu, pajeri nanas and fried chicken were delicious. The fried bananas was superb ... Very crunchy . The only setbacks about this restaurant are parking and hot coz its by the road side (they do have a small air con area). Each time vehicles passed by, be prepared for some dust. The staffs are very friendly.

A must go place if you want to try the real local Malay food. Price are reasonable. Usually it is pack with people. Go for early lunch at 11am. Do not hesitate to ask them for an assistance. It would be lovely if they can make the place bigger.
